Privacy Policy.

Last updated: May 12, 2026. Your data is handled with the same care as a fine-line stroke — quietly, precisely, and never without intent.

A soft word

Candy Ink Studio (“Candy Ink,” “we,” “us”) provides booking and brand tools for fine-line tattoo artists and the clients who book them. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the care we take in keeping it safe.

1. Information we collect

From artists: name, email, studio location, social handles, portfolio imagery, deposit preferences, and the content you publish on your Candy Ink landing page.

From clients: name, contact details, reference imagery and notes provided during booking, appointment history, and tokenized payment information used to process deposits.

Automatically: device, browser, IP, and basic usage analytics so we can keep the platform fast and secure.

2. How artist data is protected

Your portfolio, calendar, and client list belong to you. We do not sell artist data, and we do not share your client list with other artists or third parties for marketing. Access to production data is limited to a small operations team under strict confidentiality.

You may export your bookings and client roster at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by writing to candyinkbooking@gmail.com.

3. How client payment information is protected

Candy Ink does not store raw credit or debit card numbers on our servers. All deposits are processed through PCI-DSS compliant payment providers using tokenization and TLS encryption in transit. We retain only the minimum information required to show a client their booking history and to issue refunds.

Artists never see a client’s full card details — only the deposit status, last four digits where applicable, and the transaction reference.

4. How we use information

To operate the booking platform, process deposits, send transactional emails (confirmations, reminders, receipts), support artists and clients, prevent fraud, and improve the product. We do not use client booking details to train third-party models.

5. Sharing

We share information only with the vendors required to deliver the service — payment processors, email infrastructure, hosting providers, and analytics — each bound by confidentiality and data-protection commitments. We may disclose information if compelled by law, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Candy Ink, our artists, or their clients.

6. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure traffic. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; some features may not function without them.

7. Retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Booking and financial records are retained for the period required by applicable tax and consumer-protection laws. After that, data is deleted or anonymized.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these, write to candyinkbooking@gmail.com.

9. Children

Candy Ink is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the studio grows. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the platform before they take effect.

11. Contact

Questions, requests, or a quiet concern? Write to candyinkbooking@gmail.com. We answer with care.
